Project Management
Speed, cost, quality, safety, reporting, and resources are key factors to be considered, on any project, but it is the governance of such elements which will allow a project to succeed against required goals and expectations.
Time, cost and quality must be carefully assessed so realistic targets can be set, taking into account identified risks.
While unforeseen factors can hamper a project, correctly resourced teams, which are properly motivated and rewarded, with clearly defined roles and responsibilities are a vital component in realizing the success of any project.
Project management systems, such as Prince 2, are good to guide a project. However, any project requires a competent, confident and commercially experienced project manager to be effective and to provide assurance at each step of the project while also thinking and planning ahead to give recommendations and options to a Client.
